Granite is natural stone, quarried in one piece, so every slab has unique veining and color variation. Quartz is engineered: crushed quartz crystals bound with resin, giving it a more uniform, non-porous surface that never needs sealing. Granite handles direct heat better and gives you a one-of-a-kind look; quartz resists stains and chipping with essentially zero maintenance.
